Nick Evans – Kombatan Arnis

I have been training under Grand Master Andy Elliott since 2003, when I first joined at the age of 17.
Since then I have enjoyed my training, learning valuable skills in self-defence, combat and threat identification.
I have had the pleasure of training and grading directly under Grandmaster Ernesto Presas, once at the 1st World Abroad Kombatan training Camp held in Melbourne Australia, were I received my Black Belt and 2 times at the International Kombatan training camps held in the Philippines were I received my 2nd and 3rd Dan Black Belts.

I have completed an instructor training course and received my 1st Dan in Kyusho-Jitsu, a scientific pressure point fighting system.
I currently also train in Muay Thai, Brazilian Ju-Jitsu and MDW.

I enjoy instructing, and like to push people to find the secrets themselves.
Each student learns in a different way, and it’s my job to notice the how one student perceives one technique compared with another and adapt my teaching style to help benefit that student and help them realise their skills.
